patronage of the President of the Azerbaijan Republic, HE
Ilham Aliyev, who has carried on the tradition of his father,
HE Heydar Aliyev by annually opening the event.
The exhibition has experienced high levels of growth over
the last few years, fuelled by increasing interest in the
country's energy potential. In a recent opening speech, HE
Ilham Aliyev commented, “The exhibition has become traditional
and I am pleased that interest in the event does not decrease,
rather it keeps growing”. The exhibition regularly welcomes
